Where we started
The Torquay-based events management specialists are serious about what they do. Hosting first class Skittles events for 100 to 800 people per event. Serious about Events are held across the South and South West, the most common being skittles, they also organise the British Skittles Championship, the largest skittles competition in the UK.
Serious About Events have just recently celebrated their 25th Anniversary, their tagline for this year was changed to ‘Rolling Since 94’
We initially met Rachel and her father Brian, to discuss their logo design and branding, as the company was looking to evolve and change its name (from Shoot Out Club). Their enthusiasm and plans for business growth was infectious and we were soon talking new literature to support their plans.
The brief
Rachel and Brian wanted a brand that was creative and adaptable to the multiple areas of their business, whilst remaining identifiable as Serious About Events.
More importantly, their logo needed to stand the test of time. We think it does exactly that, as this logo and brand was actually created in 2014, but still looks fresh and fun today. Most recently we adapted a version of the logo for the Serious About Events 25th Anniversary.
