Celebrating 15 years in Business in 2020, we are already making preparations for the celebrations of our 20th Anniversary in 2025.
Collectively Mark and Maggie have over 50 years design and marketing experience (doesn’t that make us sound old!).
Mark fondly remembers his first project for Frankman and getting started…
“I was commissioned to design some character illustrations for a company in Newton Abbot that made internal parts for fridges… They wanted the whole process to be managed professionally with a formal quote and proper invoices. Frankman was born and the rest is history.”
Meet our team
Mark Vallance, Creative Director
Having worked in the creative design industry for over 30 years, Mark has enjoyed a varied design career that has taken him to the big city and back again.
Mark has worked for one of the top 20 communications agencies in the UK, and has helped to develop and implement leading design campaigns that have been rolled out to clients such as Covent Garden, Maidstone Television Studios, and the Pearson Publish Group, to name but a few.
Mark’s creative flair and in-depth knowledge of design enables Frankman to deliver eye-catching and engaging brands that absorbs its target audience.
Maggie Taylor, Marketing Director
Maggie is from a marketing and design background, with over 25 years in Design and Marketing. Maggie ran her own successful design and marketing agency before joining Frankman in 2015, and is driven to making a difference to businesses.
Maggie’s strong and proven marketing background has helped many businesses and organisations grow and succeed.
On the Enneagram scale, Maggie is a 9, which describes her as a peacemaker and someone who remains calm when under pressure.
Connor, Web & Technical Manager
Joining us in the Summer of 2020, with prior industry experience and qualifications in Software Development & Web, as well as Digital & Creative Media, this made him the perfect team member to look after all things web and technical. He’s also able to support our design team when called upon and offer his photography skills from time to time.
Connor enjoys seeing the client’s vision come to life, he has a huge passion for seeing client’s businesses succeed as a result of his efforts.
Connor is our Web & Technical Manager for Frankman, website project planning, building, troubleshooting, maintaining and helping our clients fulfil their online potential. Connor has always shown a strong interest in digital and creative media, and has a solid understanding for how the Web works. He’s also responsible for all things technical within the office.
Max, Junior Graphic Designer
Max joined the team in November 2021 shortly after graduating from South Devon College. It was evident very early on that Max had a very keen eye for detail and excels in precision and high-quality work which is exactly what Frankman strives for.
Max is now working closely under Marks’s guidance and is already producing some quality graphic design work for our clients. Whilst Max is the youngest member of the team, we predict great things for his future.
Phoebe, Marketing Assistant
Phoebe joined our creative team in June 2022, and is the 5th member of the Frankman Family. Working alongside Maggie as our Marketing Assistant, her zest and energy for marketing is infectious.
Phoebe has a true passion for marketing and bounds into every project with more energy than a duracell bunny. She defined her 3 core principles as Growth, Wholeheartedness and Self Expression, bringing a fantastic balance to the Frankman team. We look forward to seeing Phoebe’s skills and knowledge develop.
