Turning a passion for teaching into a vibrant new business
Primary Planet Tutoring was born from a deep love of learning and a desire to make a difference. After 25 years in primary education, Sharon (or Mrs Vallance, as her pupils affectionately call her) took a brave step into the world of self-employment, launching a home-based tutoring service for primary-aged learners who needed a little extra support. She wanted to create a warm, welcoming brand that parents could trust and children would love…

That’s where we came in.

The challenge

Sharon had the experience, the passion, and the teaching magic – but needed help turning that into a visual identity and online presence that reflected her unique approach. She wanted something that felt professional but still playful – something both children and grown-ups would connect with. Without a strong brand or any digital design in place, she was starting from scratch… and needed a team who understood how to make her vision feel real.

The brief

Bring Sharon’s dream to life – with a bright, engaging brand identity and a website that makes it easy for parents to discover and book tutoring support. Her business needed to look friendly, feel trustworthy, and showcase her experience in a fun, professional way. We were tasked with everything from branding and web design to social media visuals and setting her up for success online.

What we did

Sharon had the vision – and we brought it to life. Our creative director, Mark, worked closely with her to develop a brand that felt personal, polished and full of personality. The result? A standout logo and visual identity complete with stunning hand-drawn animal illustrations that reflect the nurturing, nature-inspired feel of the Primary Planet world.
