Newbarn Farm is a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of the South West, complete with charming cottages, peaceful fishing spots, and an atmosphere so tranquil that it practically invites you to switch off and relax.
It’s the kind of place you find yourself dreaming about after a long, busy week.
As picture-perfect as Newbarn Farm is, Alex had a few hurdles to overcome when he first took the reins. The farm was bursting with potential, but the various marketing elements—like Google listings, social media profiles, contact details, and even the brand identity—were all over the place. As well as this, they were in desperate need of a new website to help showcase the beauty of Newbarn Farm as well as clearly outline to potential visitors what they are offering. They got in contact with us at Frankman to harmonise their marketing and branding, as well as helping them to build a brand new website to help showcase what Newbarn Farm is all about.
The brief
We saw the potential in Newbarn Farm as a place where the people of Devon and beyond could relax.
After meeting with Alex, our brief was clear, to take the various marketing elements that had been left in disarray by previous owners and bring them together in one place, ensuring accuracy and clarity.This involved standardising email addresses, refining their Google profile and optimising their social media profiles. We tweaked and recoloured their logos to create a brand colour palette and identity in line with the vision they are trying to achieve.
Once their marketing was streamlined, we were tasked with building them a website that not only showcases the beauty of Newbarn Farm but clearly explains what they have to offer for any potential visitor.
The outcome
“They created our website and really listened to what we wanted. They also tied up all the loose ends in terms of old social media accounts that had been opened and left by previous owners. They also got our Google business page up to date and linked it all together – our website, the booking platforms we use, Facebook, Instagram and Google. They have saved us so much time and done a better job than we could have ever hoped to do.”
