A brand that smiles back
Claire and Paul, the heart and soul behind Itsso Travel, had a thriving passion for creating dream holidays but were struggling to attract customers to their independent travel agency. Their branding felt a little too corporate for their warm, personal approach, and footfall in their shop wasn’t where they wanted it to be.

The challenge
Claire and Paul, the passionate duo behind Itsso Travel, run a charming independent travel agency in St Marychurch. When they first joined us for a Marketing Power Hour, they were struggling with footfall in their shop and needed fresh ideas to attract more customers.
During our session, we explored ways to increase visibility, engage their audience, and drive enquiries. But as we worked through their plans, Paul asked for our thoughts on their logo… and that’s when another opportunity emerged.
Their existing logo was neat, professional, and well-designed, but it felt a little too corporate for the warm, personal approach that Claire and Paul bring to every holiday they book. These two put their heart into creating dream trips for their clients, and we wanted their brand to reflect that passion and personality.
What we did
Claire and Paul had the vision, and we brought the strategy to life. Our goal was to create a brand that felt more ‘them’ and to implement a marketing campaign that would put Itsso Travel firmly on the map.
To achieve this, we:
Refreshed their brand
We didn’t start from scratch but instead refined their existing logo to better reflect their warmth and personal touch:
- Added a smile within the design, reinforcing the joy of travel and their friendly approach.
- Introduced dual colours, representing their two personalities and the bespoke service they provide.
Launched a targeted marketing campaign
With their refreshed branding in place, we set out to boost awareness and footfall:
- Leaflet drops across Torbay – We designed and printed four different leaflets, each creatively contrasting holiday ideas. Whether customers dreamed of an all-inclusive beach escape or an adrenaline-fuelled adventure… Itsso Travel could help them find their perfect getaway.
- Social media campaign – To maximise impact, we aligned the leaflet drop with a targeted social media campaign, ensuring consistent online and offline visibility.
The Success
Since working together, Itsso Travel hasn’t just seen an increase in customers… they’ve expanded, opening a second shop by the harbour in Torquay!
