This weekend, we had the absolute pleasure of attending the Devon Women in Business Awards at the gorgeous Winslade Manor in Exeter.
It was a truly fabulous evening dedicated to celebrating women-led businesses across Devon – a night full of inspiration, laughter, and a brilliant excuse to get dressed up!
Female-Led Start-Up Business of the Year
We were honoured to sponsor the Female-Led Start-Up Business of the Year award, which went to the incredible Clair Medhurst from Continuity Midwifery.
Clair’s dedication to her clients and her craft shone through; she has built a business that’s as personal as it is professional, and it was fantastic to see her recognised in such a big way. We’re in awe of the positive impact she’s making.
The Highly Commended award in this category went to the talented Beading Diva, another stand-out business that’s making waves with creativity and passion.
Celebrating Success at the Small Business Awards
While we didn’t win the Small Business of the Year award, we were absolutely thrilled to be finalists and received our own Highly Commended recognition.
The competition was fierce, and seeing the talent and dedication amongst all the nominees was both humbling and inspiring. There’s something special about knowing we’re part of a community that’s genuinely lifting each other up and making an impact.
The awards evening itself? Absolutely unforgettable.
Winslade Manor was a perfect venue, adding a touch of elegance to an already special night. We caught up with familiar faces, met new friends, and enjoyed the warm camaraderie that Devon’s female business community is known for.
Congratulations to all the winners, the finalists, and everyone who took part. We left feeling inspired, energised, a little tipsy and proud to be part of such a wonderful community of women in business.
